Register your .bh domain
From $179.99 per year Renews at $199.99 per year
.bh is the country domain of the Kingdom of Bahrain, managed by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). Names directly under .bh are open to the public: under the TRA's rules they are registered once the fee is paid, with no eligibility review.
We check .bh first, then show the same name in our other extensions.
Why register a .bh domain?
A .bh address shows customers in Bahrain that you are local, and it is short and easy to share.
- Open to the public: no Bahraini company or residency needed for yourbrand.bh.
- Your WHOIS details are redacted by default.
- Registered for 1 to 5 years, with time to renew after the expiry date.

| Who can register | Open to the public. Third-level zones have their own rules: com.bh is for businesses, net.bh, biz.bh, cc.bh, info.bh, edu.bh and org.bh are for organisations in Bahrain, and name.bh and me.bh are for citizens and residents of Bahrain. We offer names directly under .bh. |
| Documents required | None for a name directly under .bh: the TRA's rules say second-level names are registered once the fee is paid. Documents such as a commercial registration are only asked for third-level names. |
| Registration periods | 1 to 5 years, for registration and renewal. |
| WHOIS privacy | Private by default. The registry says WHOIS data is always redacted unless the disclose flag is used. You must still give your own true, complete and accurate contact details. |
| Restrictions | Up to 63 characters: letters a-z, numbers 0-9 and hyphens; a name cannot start or end with a hyphen or contain spaces, and reserved names need the TRA's approval. |
| Expiry and deletion | After expiry you have 45 days to renew, and the domain keeps working during that time. It is then deactivated, and for 30 more days you can still get it back by paying the registration fee plus a retrieval fee. 5 days after that it is deleted and becomes free to register. |
