How your email reaches the inbox
When someone writes to your address, their mail server looks up your domain's MX record to find where to deliver it. When you send, the receiving server checks two more records: SPF, which lists the servers allowed to send for your domain, and DKIM, a signature that proves the message was not changed on the way.
Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo now expect these records, and mail without them is often marked as spam or refused. With our DNS they are set up for you. If your domain's DNS is elsewhere, such as Cloudflare or your web host, your account lists the exact records to copy there.

Do I need a domain to get business email?
Yes, the address is built on your domain. Email is added to a domain in your DomainSouq account, or to a new domain you register in the same order. A domain registered elsewhere can be transferred to us first.
Can I use it with Outlook, Gmail or my phone?
Yes. Every mailbox works over IMAP and SMTP, so it can be added to Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the Gmail app and the mail apps on iPhone and Android. Your username is your full email address, and the server settings are shown in your account.
What is the difference between a mailbox and an alias?
A mailbox has its own password and storage, for one person. An alias is just another address that delivers into a mailbox: info@ and sales@ can both arrive in your own inbox without paying for more mailboxes.
Can I add mailboxes later?
Yes, up to 50 per domain. An extra mailbox costs only the share of the price up to the end of your current term, so all your mailboxes renew on the same date.
Can I move my existing email here?
Yes. Create the same addresses here, then point your domain's MX record to us so new mail arrives in the new mailboxes. Old messages can be copied over with your email app by adding both accounts and dragging folders across. Contact us if you would like help.
What happens when my plan runs out?
Email does not renew by itself; we email you before it runs out so you can renew from your account. Your mailboxes and messages are not deleted automatically when a payment is late, which gives you time to renew.
Is my email private?
Yes. Connections to the mail server are encrypted, your mailbox passwords are passed straight to the mail service and never stored by us, and your mail stays on a mail service that is separate from your website.
