Transfer a domain to DomainSouq

Keep your name, move its management here. You pay for the transfer at checkout, and we take care of the request to your current registrar.

How a transfer works

  1. Unlock the domain

    Turn off the transfer lock in your current registrar's control panel.

  2. Get the transfer code

    Ask your current registrar for the transfer code, also called the EPP or authorization code.

  3. Enter the domain and code

    Use the form on this page. You will see the transfer price in your cart before paying.

  4. We start the transfer

    After payment we send the request. Some registrars email the domain owner to approve it; a transfer can take up to a week.

Rules differ between extensions. Generic extensions such as .com usually cannot move within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, and some country extensions have their own process. Make sure the domain's contact email works, since approval requests are sent there.

Where do I find my transfer code?
  1. Sign in to your current registrar, where you manage the domain today.
  2. Open the domain's settings and turn off its transfer lock (it may be called registrar lock or domain lock).
  3. Look for "Transfer out", "Authorization code", "Auth code" or "EPP code". Some companies show the code; others email it to the domain's contact address.
  4. Copy the code and paste it here. It is case-sensitive.

If you bought the domain through a web host or website builder, the code comes from them. If you cannot find it, ask their support for the domain's transfer (EPP) code.
