Create a website

Choose the domain, the name and your WordPress login, and we set WordPress up in minutes.

1. Open WordPress Hosting in My Account and press Create website.
2. Choose which domain the website uses: a domain registered with us (we connect it automatically), a domain registered with another company (type it, for example mybrand.com), or no domain yet (a free temporary address ending in .hostingersite.com; connect your own domain later).
3. Give the site a name (shown in search results and the browser tab), choose the language, and enter the admin email WordPress should use for password resets and notices.
4. Choose your WordPress username (English letters and numbers, and not "admin") and password (with a number, a lowercase and an uppercase letter and a symbol; English letters only, no spaces). We never store or show it again.
5. Press Create website. It is ready in a few minutes and shows as ready on the page; we email you too.
