Sell a domain on the marketplace

List a name you own, prove it is yours and let buyers send offers. You keep the whole price.

DomainSouq is a notice board for sales between customers. We charge a flat listing fee, not a commission. We do not hold the payment, move the domain or guarantee the sale. Selling opens only when the team has switched it on; if you do not see Sell your domain or it says it is not open yet, it is not available right now.

  1. Open Sell your domain and start a new listing.
  2. Pick a domain registered with DomainSouq (free to list), or type one from another provider (that needs one listing, bought there).
  3. Set your price and the lowest offer you would consider (buyers cannot send less and are not told the number), choose how buyers can approach you and write a short description in Arabic and English. Describe the name, not yourself; no contact details, links or prices in the text.
  4. For a domain from another provider, show it is yours: add the TXT record we display (_domainsouq-verify) in your DNS and press Check my record. DNS changes can take minutes to hours. Keep the record while the domain is listed or the listing is hidden.
  5. Send it for review. Our team reads every listing and emails you when it is approved, or if something must change. A listing that is not approved gives your credit back.

An approved listing stays on the marketplace for several months, and you can pay to feature it in the home page band for some days (it is marked "Featured" so visitors know it is a paid spot). You can withdraw a listing; a listing that was already used is not refunded.
