Check out and pay

How checkout works, which cards work and what to do if a payment fails.

  1. Open your cart and press checkout.
  2. Check your details. Domain registries need a real owner address, written in English letters (for example "King Fahd Road, Building 12") and a phone number with the country code. If you saved them in your Profile, checkout goes straight to payment.
  3. Read the summary: every domain shows its renewal price next to the price you pay today, and any offer or coupon is listed as a separate row.
  4. Pay with a card on the secure payment form. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear where your device supports them.

Your card details only ever go into the secure payment form; we never see or store them. The card you pay with is saved to your account for automatic renewals, and you can replace it any time (see saved cards).

If something goes wrong

  • Card declined or 3-D Secure failed: nothing is registered and nothing is charged. Try another card or ask your bank to approve it.
  • You pressed Back on the payment page: checkout tells you nothing was charged. Your cart is still there.
  • A name was taken while you were paying: we check each name again right before the payment. If it is gone, remove it from the cart and choose another.

Paid but unsure it went through? Open Orders: the order appears there once the payment is confirmed. See after you pay.
