Move a domain to another registrar

Get the transfer code, and lock the domain again if you change your mind.

Each domain has a transfer lock. While it is on, nobody can move the domain to another registrar. Keep it on unless you really are moving the domain.

1. Open Domains, choose the domain and open its Security tab.
2. Press Get transfer code. For your security we ask for your password again (or your two-step code) and email you when a code is released.
3. Copy the code now: it is shown only once. This unlocks the domain so the other registrar can take it.
4. Give the code to the new registrar and start the transfer there.

Changed your mind?

Press Lock the domain again on the same tab. The Transfers tab lists the transfers you started and cancelled.
