Transfer a domain to DomainSouq

Bring a domain you own elsewhere here. Your website and email keep working.

Before you start, at your current registrar

1. Unlock the domain (turn off its transfer lock).
2. Get its transfer code (also called an authorisation or EPP code).
3. Make sure the owner's email address works: the old registrar may email you to approve the transfer. Domains registered or transferred in the last 60 days usually cannot move yet.

On DomainSouq

1. Open the transfer page and type the domain. We check that it is ready and show your current registrar's steps and the price. A transfer adds one more year to the domain.
2. Enter the transfer code, add the transfer to the cart and pay.
3. Follow it under Domains → Transfers. It usually completes within about five days, sooner if the old registrar approves quickly.

If the code is wrong, the order tells you it needs the current code and we email you; enter the new code from the order page. Your website and DNS keep working during the transfer: if your DNS was at the old registrar we copy the records first, and nameservers on a service such as Cloudflare stay as they are.
